18th Annual Kid's Fishing Day- ENFH invites young people and their families to a fun morning of trout fishing. Last year there were approximately 300 young people in attendance.

Coded-wire-tagging (CWT) and removing of the adipose fin of 820,000 fish from brood year 2007 spring Chinook. Fish tagging and marking trailer moves in. Observe this work first hand.

Adult Spring Chinook Return to the Hatchery- Sport fishing and tribal fishing dates to be announced.

Wenatchi Indian Mother’s Day Feast in Hatchery Park.

Kids in the Creek- A hands-on ⁄ feet-wet educational program for high school students.

Leavenworth's Spring Bird Fest- Bird watching tours and owl-prowls on the Hatchery grounds.

National Trails Day- Enjoy a quiet walk on the Icicle Nature Trail.

Cast For Kids- A fun day of kids fishing and education at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery.

Leavenworth Summer Theater- At Hatchery Park.
SEPTEMBER 18 - 21
The 18th Annual Wenatchee River Salmon Festival- On the grounds of the Hatchery. FESTIVAL OF FAMILY FUN, with edu-tainment, activities, craft booths and food vendors. You are invited to volunteer to help make 2008 the best Salmon Festival ever. Festival partners include: Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, Wenatchee-Okanogan National Forest, Bureau of Reclamation, Chelan County P.U.D., Friends of Northwest Hatcheries, Bonneville Power Administration, and The Wenatchee World.
