Make plans to travel up Icicle Creek to the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery for their annual Kids Fishing Day event in celebration of National Fishing and Boating Week.  This FREE event includes educational stations geared for children ages 4 – 14 where they learn the essentials of fishing and water/boating safety before trying to catch that ‘big one.’  Fishing poles and bait are provided.  A food booth will be available with proceeds benefitting Discovery High School.
